24-hour care means someone is always with your loved one, day and night.

When check-ins are no longer enough, we cover every hour of the day with rested caregivers working shifts of 8 hours or less.

Here is how 24-hour care helps your family.

Some families reach a point where their loved one should not be alone at any time, often after a fall, a hospital stay or a change in memory. 24-hour care means a caregiver is always in the home. For many elderly parents, having a caregiver there around the clock is what makes staying at home possible.

Rolocare does not use live-in caregivers. Instead, three caregivers each work a shift of 8 hours or less, so the person with your loved one is always awake, alert and rested, including overnight.

24-hour care can include any of these tasks.

You choose only the tasks your loved one needs. We put them in a written care plan during your free home assessment.

  • A caregiver in the home around the clock
  • Day, evening and overnight shifts
  • Help getting to the bathroom at night
  • Help if your loved one wakes up confused
  • Fall prevention day and night
  • Personal care at any hour
  • Meals and medication reminders
  • Companionship through the day
  • Updates for the family
  • Shifts of 8 hours or less

Rolocare provides non-medical care only. Our caregivers do not perform nursing tasks such as injections or wound care.

This is who 24-hour care is a good fit for.

24-hour care is a good fit when your loved one is at high risk of falling, wanders or gets confused at night, or is coming home from the hospital and cannot be alone.

We provide 24-hour care across Southern California.

Families often ask us these questions about 24-hour care.

Do you offer live-in care?

No. We provide 24-hour coverage with separate caregiver shifts of 8 hours or less, so a rested caregiver is always present.

Can we start with fewer hours and add more later?

Yes. Many families start with a few shifts a week and move to 24-hour care as their loved one's needs change.
